Great cover from Cairns Ukulele Festival - and check out the "back up band"!

Can't quite figure out all of the chord progression... but sweet anyway.

great rendition, I like the tempo, a little slower than I usually hear it.

I like Vox' renditions in general - always an interesting take, making it "hers". But even this slow tempo, I can't figure out some of the chords. It seems to be a "basic" C-G-Am-F w/a few Dm's etc - its the ETC that I can't figure out.

OK Here's how we do it, enjoy.

Waltzing Matilda

[D] Once a jolly [A] swagman [Bm] camp'd by a [G] billabong
[D] Under the shade of a [A] coolibah [A7] tree
And he [D] sang as he [A] watched and [Bm] waited till his [G] billy boiled
[D] You'll come a waltzing [A] Matilda with [D] me

[D] Waltzing Matilda, [G] Waltzing Matilda,
[D] You'll come a waltzing [A] Matilda with me
And he [D] sang as [A] watched and [Bm] waited till his [G] billy boiled
[D] You‟ll come a waltzing [A] Matilda with [D] me

[D] Down came a [A] jumbuck to [Bm] drink at the [G] waterhole
[D] Up jumped the swagman and [A] grabbed him with [A7] glee
And he [D] sang as he [A] stowed that [Bm] jumpbuck in his [G] tucker-bag
[D] You'll come a waltzing [A] Matilda with [D] me

[D] Waltzing Matilda, [G] Waltzing Matilda,
[D] You'll come a waltzing [A] Matilda with me
And he [D] sang as he [A] stowed that [Bm] jumpbuck in his [G] tucker-bag
[D] You'll come a waltzing [A] Matilda with [D] me

[D] Up rode the [A] Squatter, [Bm] mounted on his [G] thoroughbred
[D] Up rode the troopers, [A] one , two, [A7] three
Where [D] is that [A] jumbuck [Bm] you've got in ya [G] tucker-bag?
[D] You'll come a waltzing [A] Matilda with [D] me

[D] Waltzing Matilda, [G] Waltzing Matilda,
[D] You'll come a waltzing [A] Matilda with me
Where [D] is that [A] jumbuck [Bm] you've got in ya [G] tucker-bag?
[D] You'll come a waltzing [A] Matilda with [D] me

But the [D] swagman he [A] up and [Bm] jumped in the [G] water-hole
[D] Drowning himself by the [A] Coolibah [A7] tree
And his [D] ghost may be [A] heard as you [Bm] pass by that [G] billabong
[D] You'll come a waltzing [A] Matilda with [D] me

[D] Waltzing Matilda, [G] Waltzing Matilda,
[D] You'll come a waltzing [A] Matilda with me
And his [D] ghost may be [A] heard as you [Bm] pass by that [G] billabong
[D] You'll come a waltzing [A] Matilda with [D] me

this is more or less how i play it... a few "embellishments" in some of the chords to outline the melody though..
i'm so glad you like it! and yeah, the backing band wasn't shabby either! :)

[C] Once a jolly [G] swagman [Am] camp'd by a [F] billabong
[C] Under the shade of a [G] coolibah tree
And he [C] sang as he [G] watched and [Am] waited till his [F] billy boiled
[C] You'll come a waltzing [G] Matilda with [C] me

[C] Waltzing Matilda, [F] Waltzing Matilda,
[C] You'll come a waltzing [G] Matilda with me
And he [C] sang as he [G7no3rd] watched and [Am] waited till his [F] billy boiled
[C] You‟ll come a waltzing [G] Matilda with [C] me

OR... I know... why not just as Victoria?!

Thanks, dear Ms. Vox. I love the embellishments. Now for some reason, MY KoAloaha's don't sound or look so sweet when I'M the one playing! Lovely indeed.
