I purchased this from Ukulele Academy a few weeks ago and really like it but I am having a hard time playing it cause my hands are biggish and I cant seem to play beyond the 4th fret. I would say the neck is between a soprano and sopranino in size. The action, tone, and overall construction is very good. One thing I noticed is when the uke was being built Candelas must have used a piece that had crack on one of the back pieces and filled it in because it is finshed as well as the rest of the uke, I bring it up because I noticed it and like full disclosure. I have provided a pic of it. I paid $500 and its listed as a $795 from Candelas. It is really a sweet uke in the Nunes style and comes with a hard shell case. $450.00 + shipping, or best offer. I would consider a concert, or tenor of nice construction in trade. Let me know. Thanks

All Mahogany construction, friction tuners, Martin strings(fluocarbon which after stretching sound good), Candelas hard shell case.

I noticed that the last photo is a little crappy, if somebody would like me to re shoot it I will. I would also consider swapping for a long scale soprano too. Thanks

Bump and then it's off to the bay.

Looks like a nice uke.

What is the scale? 13.5"?

Do you have a sound sample?

Yes 13.5 from nut to saddle.....I will try to get a sound byte later tonight.
