Ukuleles in Paradise - Herb Ohta Jr. and Daniel Ho concerts and Workshops in California!
Two of today’s most recognizable Hawaiian music talents come together for their third California tour to celebrate the release of their latest CD called 2-3 Feet, their third in a collection of Ukuleles in Paradise collaborations. Herb Ohta, Jr and Daniel Ho bring to life the sound of just two ‘ukuleles and combine melodic harmonies, original melodies and both traditional Hawaiian originals as well their own compositions all influenced by the sounds of acoustic contemporary jazz, R&B, and world music.

It conflicts with three other local uke meetups, I'm trying to see how thin I can spread myself over the next two days. Wednesday night there is the WindNSea Ukulele Orchestra in La Jolla and the Moonlight Beach Ukulele Strummers in Encinitas. Thursday is the Ukulele Society of America in Carlsbad.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall is about 100 yards east of the corner of Turquiose and Mission Boulevard where pacific beach becomes La Jolla.
 
darn... I can't do either tomorrow. Wifey wants to get more maternity clothes after work!!!! LOL
oh well...

I'll make a note in my calendar to try and make the next La Jolla meetup!
