I'm checking interest in the community for my mahogany Kiwaya KTS4:

It just isn't getting played. I'm reaching for the Martin 0, which doesn't have any problems, and my ohanas. Of course the Kamakas are getting a lot of play as well.

I'm thinking it should be priced in the $450 range with a hardcase. It is absolutely in as-new condition.

If there's interest I'll get some better pics.

Thanks

Kind of surprised the SK-35 stays and the Kiwaya KTS-4 goes.

It is surprising, isn't it. I'm surprised myself. But I've always thought of the KTS4 as a modern Martin. Everybody always says, "it's like a vintage instrument without any of the issues." And that's true, except that my 1948 Martin 0 has no issues. It's perfect. So, I'm finding that I'm just playing the Martin--which is why I have it in the first place.

And the Ohana is another sound entirely, and it's one I've always loved.

So that's my thinking.

It makes sense to me! :)

That's makes sense to me, too. Keep what you like and play.

Anyways, You have nice deal for someone who is looking for a KTS-4.
