I was 'gifted' an old Clarion mahogany soprano ukulele. The luthier techs who restored it think it is older then the fifties ukes usually referenced in the Tikiking discussions. Any ideas? I posted it on Youtube as a way show people. She is a nice old lady. The url is below.

That old lady looks and sounds quite pretty; congratulations on receiving such a thoughtful gift!

You may want to send photos of the uke, headstock, and soundhole info (if there is any) to Flea Market's Collector's Uke Yak (http://www.fleamarketmusic.com/uke-yak/default.asp) or the Ukulele Hall of Fame Museum's Vintage Ukulele Q & A (http://www.ukulele.org/?Vintage_Ukulele_Q_%26amp%3B_A). These folks know their stuff!
