Here's a link to my blog post with the full photos/etc... click here.
At any rate, this is a uke I picked up from Fran of the VT Uke Society in a trade. It's a nice concert dealie, all solid mahogany, rosewood board, etc. My work on it included a bridge reglue, fret dress, pickup install, side-dots and replacement fret dots, etc. -- all addressed in the blog post link above.
I've set this one aside as a gigging and recording instrument (hence the pickup). Good strident tone means it'll be heard for solos and band work and the sunburst finish matches my Regal-made dreadnought Hawaiian guitar from the '30s.
As can be expected, I'm quite pleased with it!
