Aloha,

We're thinking of selling what we believe to be an early '50's Kamaka Pineapple that has been in the family for some years. Other than a couple of small cracks shown in the photos it is in fine condition and comes with the original case. Anyone care to help us determine the exact year of manufacture and what the value might be?

I had a gold label like that where the back extends and connects to the bottom of the heel...mine was close to mid 50's..

Like mds725 sed as to its age..Nice original case also, it appears. Even with the cracks shown(and the top separating from the body) they go on evilBay from $250-$350. Check the area below the bridge for hairline cracks-it's almost a trademark for these Koa 'Ukes

This is what I was going to guess as well, mid-late 50's.
