Here's a Summertime classic I recorded this morning. This time a solo uke outing. It's Herbie Hancock's 1962 Jazz classic - Watermelon Man. This is my first recording with my new Mya-Moe Resonator Tenor uke. Recorded with a Zoom H4N portable digital recorder.

This tune has been recorded over 200 times and is a staple of every high school band director (when they want to get "hip").

Very nice! Sounded pretty sweet to me!

Really like the resonator sound. Do you have any sound bits or experience playing these kinds of ukes with a slide?

@Scott -

I haven't played this instrument with a slide. I have enough trouble playing the lap steel. I don't need another project. :)
