Play on G and C

A while ago I posted a youtube vid of me fooling around with a tune I had gotten stuck in my head.

After a month of fiddling, here's what I've come up with.

I think it's a bit better than it was, but I'm still not super pleased with it. Especially the last 1/4. But I'm at a loss as to what else to do.

Any hints? I know absolutely nothing when it comes to writing music. I just kinda dabble with melodies...

I thought it sounded great. The first time I listened I wasn't sure about the section where you kinda sped up the tempo but then I listened again and I liked it. It was too short though. I would have liked to hear it a little longer.
