Seeing Them Off (original)

I wrote this back in 1983 on a Martin M-2 soprano. It's the one song I ever wrote that I like just as much with vocals or as an instrumental. Eventually I'll post a version with the vocals. It's an acoustic science fiction song about driving a young couple to the spaceport so they can blast off into space forever.

Interesting tune with a lot going on..... some really cool pickin in there higher up the fretboard, lots of variety in harmony and rhythm.... good stuff. Would be interesting to hear what kind of melody you have going on over it.....

One that I have a hard time singing.

I'm hoping that in a couple of weeks I will have time to do the vocal version (and have time to practice it a lot first).
