3rd Build

Hi all I thought I would share some pics of my 3rd build in progress.
I was lucky to find a friend who wanted 2 ukuleles. he bought my second and commissioned a 3rd. I made sure he knew I was still learning and there were a few issues with my second build. He was fine with that and was excited to own some of my work...

Anyway my 3rd build is a Cherry and Purpleheart concert. It is being built to match (basically) the second... though I built a new building form and modified the shape a bit...

I started on this one Saturday and got the body together... did a little more work today and got the neck together. this is my first build with a bolt on neck and so far I am really like it. Anyway enough talking, here are some pics of the process.

Looks like it's coming along beautifully. Luv the purpleheart wood!

Got #3 done. thought I would post up a few pics for everyone. Let me know what you think... this is my favorite so far for sure. Both in looks and play.

Very classy. That cherry really looks nice
