Stagg Electro/Acoustic Concert UC80SE???

Does anyone have one of these? Or has anyone played one?

A friend of mine in down in the states and has found one in a store for $180.

I can't find much info about this uke, and I'm trying to let him know if it's a good buy.

Not sure about the model you're talking about but I have a soprano us60-s which was pretty cheap, I paid about 60 euro, and its of pretty decent quality I think. Its not a well known brand but seems to be of decent quality for the price in my experience. Having said that I would have thought you could find a decent electro-acoustic uke for a similar price with a better known brand. Sorry I can't help more.

For $180, you can do better. Try finding a Lanikai, Kala or Luna acoustic-electric in the same price range.
It would be a better instrument.

Staggs are OK... but a bit variable in quality control compared to the others I mentioned.
