8-4-11 Update: Ukulele has been sold.

Up for sale is a Collings UT-1 Koa Tenor. It was purchased in May 2011 in from Hawaii Music Supply at their store on a recent trip to Oahu. My priorities have shifted somewhat and it is not getting the play it deserves and should go where someone will appreciate it. Needless to say, it sounds awesome. It features an incredibly light build, excellent sustain and great volume. Currently strung with Low G Aquilas.

Here is a link to a HMS video. The instrument pictured and in the first 3:45 of the video is the actual ukulele.

The first thing youíll notice that it has magical powers and makes whomever plays it sound like a virtuoso because clearly this guy canít play. I sound just like this whenever I pick it up too. Kidding of course. :) OK, back on topic...

Asking $1200, shipping to CONUS included. Comes with hard case that is an incredible piece in itself. Havenít see a case so well tailored to a uke as this one. Fits like a glove.

Thanks for looking.

That's a good price for an "as new" Collings tenor. Collings makes some very nice playing and sounding instruments. It should sell quick.
