I currently own a Concert Lanikai LU-21 ukulele. I have loads of fun with it, but it was damaged. I am going to turn it in and collect on the warranty and I decided to use this time to upgrade. So I have been looking at this uke http://www.samash.com/p/Boulder%20Creek_Riptide%20Mahogany%20Tenor%20Ukule le_-49946620 anyone have any experience with the uke or opinions? I am really loving the sound and I think it will work terrifically for what I do. I play casually at open mics etc. and it will be splendid being able to plug in the uke rather than scrambling to mic it. I am also in a comedic band, where I play my uke along with a guitarist, trumpet, and occasional percussion instruments. Currently we are a duo but we are considering adding a full band, and I feel a Tenor Ukulele will work very well in that format. What do you guys think? If you are interested in hearing what my band sounds like to determine what uke would work with the sound, this is our Facebook page with two of our songs recorded :) https://www.facebook.com/weareeasilyamused?sk=app_2405167945 any help or advice would be much appreciated :D. Thank you happy strumming!!

P.S. I started playing ukulele around 8 months ago.

Those Boulder Creek Riptide ukes are pretty cool. If you like it, go for it :)
