I've named it The March Hare, after the Alice in Wonderland character.

Cute little guy, ain't he? Solid pine, all of it. It will be stained to a much darker and prettier color later on.

Headstock looks a bit crooked here.

Gonna finish the headstock tomorrow, but it's based on the ears of "Thackery Earwicket", the March Hare from the latest Wonderland movie.

The neck is just friction fitted in this one.

And for everyone wondering, I'm going to use electric guitar strings tuned up to a ukulele range and a single humbucker pickup.
What do you guys think so far? I'll admit, I'm a bit crazy...just about as mad as a march hare...anyone? No? Alright....
Give me some criticism guys, but remember, that this is my first project ever. Only power tool used was a jig saw to rough cut everything out.

Im far from any pro myself. But, want to give what I can offer. Before ya get too far, ya might want to give that headstock some break angle I think 14º if my memory serves is about what it should be? (I have mine jig permanantly set...). Also is that scarf jointed? Will it hold up under tension of steel strings? Truss rod?
