Old Gospel song from Mississippi John Hurt, with too much bare foot tapping and a bad camera angle.

nice job, wee.... hadn't heard that tune in a long time. It suits your voice and I like the arrangement, too..... good stuff.

MJH's thumb worked like a metronome on that guitar bass line,
Which is impossible to replicate on a uke. Basically it is a three
chord trick. If you listen to MJH sometimes he will sing a verse
and next time around he will not sing the words but fill in with
notes on the guitar... spoonful (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uL7jowIpykQ) for example.

For a blues singer his delivery is very soft, he recorded
many of his famous songs in 1928. I fell in love with his
style after hearing Avalon Blues (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klcDgu2f_pQ)

Sorry I don't have any tabs but it is only a three chord trick.
You can pick up the words and chords at this site

Since I laid my burden down
