Gold tone banjo ukulele armrest question

Been playing the Gold tone tenor banjo ukulele more and was thinking of getting an armrest to provide more comfort. they sell one that will fit their 8" head on their website, it's $26 + shipping. Anyone have one of these B1209 mini armrests? commernts/alternatives?

Don't have one myself, but I feel your pain! My baritone does a number on me.

I don't know if you are very wood-savvy, but you might be able to carve one out of a piece of walnut if you wanted it to look really cool!
