Aloha UU,

Again, I would love to share my ukulele pixs to you.
Here is the Kamaka HF-2 specials (semi-custom) that I got for awhile.

It features the ebony headplate, finger board and bridge with abalone KK logo and dot inlay.
Simply nice clean and . . . special to me.

KK always makes great ukulele . . .
All ukes from kamaka are specials !

Let's start with the headstock . . . I like the Kamaka concert headstock design . . .
Its shape is very dynamic. The asymetrical design curve gives a sense of smooth movement. Sort of modern feeling to me.
Yes . . it's great to have it in my small uke collection.

The ebony finger board with abalone dot inlay.
Super black . . . Super dark finger board . . . nice contrast with the curly koa body.

Curly koa top side and back . . .
Not extremely curly but it's good enough, isn't it?

Bright and well response . . .

I love the darkness of ebony. About the sound of ebony on kamaka. . . I think that Jake's kamaka has ebony fingerboard and bridge (Not sure).
therefore, his clips in youtube might be a nice guide for the sound but mine is concert not tenor.

Anyway, If I have a chance to record some clips, will post it here.
Thanks :)

Thanks . . .
That's the Thai song "Nid-Nueng-Por".

Nid-Nueng-Por can describe as an ENG word "Just a little bit".
The original song has a lyric describing about the feeling of a guy falling in love with woman who already has boyfriend. So he is hopeless and make a wish.
Wish the woman will interest in him "Just a little bit". . . . a little bit is big enough for his love. :D

It's very old thai song but I love the melody, so I try to play it as a finger style instead of singing.

I'm trying to pick it out by ear. I've got the the first part fairly well figured out, although I can't play it very well since I'm a beginning player. My ears are much better than my fingers. :)
