Just finished this one. I have made a number of Gourd 5 string banjos like this with the hand carved peghead and wanted to build a Uke the same.
This is a Tenor size 17" scale. This one has maple neck with a Cherry wood hand carved and colored "Woodspirit" peghead. The Uke has Grover geared tuners and is strung with Aquila strings.
The gourd is a big 8 1/2" dia x 5" deep. This uke has really big sound. The interior is coated with a two part epoxy for better acoustics and has a soundhole for better bass response. The gourd is covered with goatskin.
$275.00 + $20.00 s/h I take Paypal. If you are interested call me Barry @ 770-712-4419

Hypothetically, if I were to buy one of these and would need a new skin head eventually, would you replace it for a fee?

I love the headstock art Barry. Did you do that yourself? Your art is always fantastic!

Just. Wow! It is much prettier than I imagined when you told me about it. The person that gets this uke is getting a beautiful piece of artwork that sounds awesome.
