Hi guys,

I'm currently learning how to sing, and actually made a youtube account purposely for criticisms/feedbacks to help me improve. If you guys could please help me out from time to time, it would be greatly appreciated as you guys will be part of my learning experience. It's my aim that one day, I could sing and play the uke at the same time. Step by step, I'm trying to build work on one thing at a time, and hopefully will start posting up legit vids. I'm a bit shy, so the visual on my vids are plain and simple, and completely random. Lol. But nevertheless, it will be short vids so it won't take up much of your time if you view one here and there. Again, thank you all in advance, and I hope to get some constructive criticisms from you guys! It will help, as I trust that you are great musicians :).

Hi there,

Enjoyed your singing. You did it the hard way, without accompaniment. I'd suggest you also sing with a tape or instrument to train your voice and ear to work together. If you are serious take some lessons, even if just a few. A good teacher can put you on the right track and give you some good voice tools to work with. The most important thing is that you don't lose sight of your dream. I am not trained in music, so take my thoughts remembering that. Below is a link of my first attempt at a "music video". You can see I've got a long ways to go, and probably less time than you do :)

Great video gary! I enjoyed it :). And yes I have a long long long way to go. I sing whenever I get the chance to do it alone, lol, I have no confidence to sing in public as we all know I need to work on it. Also thank you for the advice itsme! I am trying to look for lessons online, and I found this guy: http://www.youtube.com/user/EricArceneaux#p/c/82E6C50CD56A1C21. He has warm-ups and tips about singing. I will try to be consistent in viewing his videos, and hopefully it'll help me. I know it's not going to make me professional, but there is nothing to lose! Thank you guys for your feedback! I appreciate it a lot!
