It is a lovely song, rather poignant and sad, about hopes for
a brighter future in crazy times... of letting friendships slip
away over time... and failing to keep promises made in good faith.
Someone gave me a link to the ending of a movie called "Smoke"
where the song is used for dramatic effect. It would seem that
blindness and innocence often go hand in hand.

Very nicely done, quite lovely..... and I'd forgotten about that cover being used in 'Smoke' - it's a good movie - Harvey Keitel is excellent in a really interesting role....

Just showed it to my wife and she sang the whole thing. She is not a member here, but she is a uker and she was well impressed also...this is just a great video
