Even if I had deep pockets, my arms would never be that long.

I have a Gaspar pineapple, plain jane version, no one who knows all about the Kamaka history I submitted photos etc too gave a crap about it, not enough to even answer me back. I got one out of the blue unsolicited email probably off a post here saying it was rare-ish, but no other info. Gaspar was primarily a violin maker, maybe some guitars? But not a huge producer of ukes. A lot of his pineapples seem to be very free form and lopsided.

Unless this is the only one Louis ever made that was fancy, I think this guy is dreaming.

Buy it Now price on this is $5000

Love the description...no damage except writing on the inside. Must have missed the two fat cracks on the back, but it is 90 years old.

This uke, like most other things in life, is worthed only what people are willing to pay for it.
Let's see what happens at the end of the auction..............

Heh, okay, this is just my opinion, but just the minimum bid of $1900 is way more than I'd pay for it...
