I am interested in picking up a concert scale resonator uke (open to any number of brands: low-end to high end).

I have the following available for trade/partial trade depending on interest and the particular reso-uke in question:

- Mainland Banjo Uke + HSC (silver/amber friction tuners - looks great)
- Kiwaya KS1 + HSC (roomy fretboard for a soprano - very playable)

Both are in excellent condition, I just like my Fluke and Martin OXK better, and would like to add a resonator to the bunch.

Thanks,

Jeff

Thanks for the links, I've seen those here and there on the web and they look/sound very nice, but I am trying to keep the price point well below the $1K mark, which leaves me very much in the "pre-owned" space for something of that build quality.

One of my favourite reso brands is Blackbox resonators http://www.blackboxresonators.co.uk/
Started by Colin of Delta Cone Resonators, who makes the nicest sounding cones I've heard.

A cheaper custom option might be Sven from Argapa ukuleles http://argapa.blogspot.com/search/label/Resonator uke
Played it about a month back and it was luvverly jubberly.

Final option is Pete Howlett, who is building a batch of resos at the moment http://petehowlettukulele.co.uk/pete_howlett_tenor_ukulele_resonator.html
Bit out of the price range at £850/$1400 but they'll be stunning once complete.

Edit: Also heard good things about Beltona ukes http://www.beltona.net/nav/ukuleles.htm
