Collings

Anyone have any personal experience regarding the Collings UC1 ukulele and can give a short review? Buld, sound, etc.? Thanks in advance!

i've played the uc-1 but settled on a ut-2 from collings.

overall they have incredible build quality - they're light, resonant and bright. the only thing you might see is that the action is a "tiny bit" higher than what most players are used to. took me a couple of days to get used to that... not a problem at all but something you may notice at first.

i'd say you're good to go with a collings uke. they aint cheap but they sure are pretty!
