Hi Everybody-

My name's Bill. I just joined and wanted to stop by and say hi.
After lots of decades of playing guitar, I'm expanding my horizons.

I'm in my mid-70s and would love it if I heard from other geezers new to ukeland.

Been to the New York City uke festival a couple of times. Look fwd to going again.

Hi Bill, Welcome to UU. I'm not a geezer (!) but have been strumming away for about a year now. I love just been able to pick up my Uke and strum . Anyhow enjoy your new horizon.

Greetings from one geezer to another! I'll be 70 on 9/1. My Dad gave me a pre-war Martin on my 10th birthday, but I didn't get serious until last year, so I may be the worlds longest running "beginner." I have done prodigious research on all aspects of ukes, but my limited memorizaton skills prevents me from progressing rapidly. I joined my local meetup group and got my youngest son hooked on ukes. Look forward to hearing more from ya on UU.
