Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced soundboard transducer to amplify the ukulele?

If you're talking about an external stick-on type I have a Dean Markley "Artist Transducer" - it's not bad, considering the reasonable price - I think I paid around 25 bucks at a Guitar Center.

Following a few older threads,I made one.I went and bought
a piezo transducer from a local electronics shop, cost 15 pence
(Whatever that is is dollars?) Mounted it on the end of a guitar
lead as a permanent fix,and voila. It fixes to any uke with a very
thin circle of Blu Tak that I laid around the 'rim'. Okay it's not
perfect, but it captures every note and strum, and for the price
was a worthwhile experiment!

Thanks for all the input. I will try the Dean Markley Acoustic.

I have the JJB PPS-100 pick up which is very good quality and only costs $15! http://www.jjb-electronics.com/PPS-100.html I removed the endpin jack and bought a longer threaded guitar jack with a strap button so, I could mount it through the thick wood block at the base of the ukulele.

It was very easy to install and for $30 total, sounds Awesome!...
