I am about to order a new concert Islander by Kanile'a this weekend. If you haven't seen one or heard them, Aron at Hawaii Music Supply did a great video review at the ukulele review website. He was really blown away by the sound of these new ukes! so was I! When you listen to the great clips, I think that you will be greatly impressed!
The laminate line sounds like a $200 - $300, and the solid mahogany line sounds like the usual $400 - $600 instruments.
