Nice review! It's not a great picture, but you can somewhat see the bracing that KoAloha uses in this picture I took from their factory tour (see the middle uke on the left).

Been playing it all day and just really surprised myself. Played it back to back with my Kanile'a tenor. This little beast is louder!!

I'm in complete agreement with your review points. I love my little Pikake, it really is fun and packs a punch!

Give your Kanilea some time and it will get much louder and more dynamic to the touch. My K-1 satin tenor start pretty good, then went to really good, now it is very close to perfect. I recent got a KoAloha soprano and man it is addictive. Loving the k-brands.
