You could be right now that I think of it it is more Mrs Doubtfire than Begbie.
It is a psycho song and could have done with a mixture of Billy Connolly and
Rab C. Nesbitt to send it over the top.b C.

I dinnae think I would go so far as Mrs. Doubtfire, especially with the brogue.... Maybe Sean Connery? In his leaner, younger days - like in "Highlander" - just the right blend of hard case and charisma....

From the comments I received on YT it seems that nobody was aware that
the people referred to in the song were not fictitious and were associated
one way or another with Andy Warhol's "the factory".
