So I got my first ukulele on thursday.I already know some chords and I learned the melody for Ode to Joy. I'm surprised I've been able to read tabs in such a short time of having my uke. Anyways my question is what other songs can I learn that are similiar to Ode to Joy in terms of ease?

"If you want to sing out" cat stevens was my first. Catchy, simple, and quite easy to learn.

Well, actually I'm still not good with strumming :(
I definitely have to work on that.

heres a tip.
strum above the bottom of the fretboard where it meets (or is close to meeting..) the soundhole with the flesh of you index finger so that your palm is facing you. you wont get as much volume but it works.
