As I'm inclined to be a bit of a "Gadget" type person, I'm always on the look out for good ideas
I found this great design for cutting Kerfs on the Australian/New Zealand Luthiers Forum..I'ts a stationary device that clamps to the bandsaw and you push/pull the swinging arm in and out to cut the Kerfs...and it automaticly feeds the workpiece.

My kerf cutter is a different design where the whole assembly slides in the table slots up against a fixed cam.
This is my set up in action ..I did a slow motion video of it so you can see how it works...just click on the image.
