The Flea Bitten Dawgs are playing in Indianapolis Sept 16th.

Just talked to Thom and there will be a little get together in the UWC field the next night Sat., Sept. the 17th. Nothing planned other than hanging with friends and jamming. Camping is A-OK!

Lynn and I plan on being at both.

Dang, I need to move closer to Needmore!

I'm hoping to make it! We'll be hosting Thom, David and Kevin at our place the night before, after the Dawg's show in Noblesville. Folks should just throw their hands in the air, give it up to the universe and come to Indiana for the weekend! The show is at the Noble Coffee and Tea in Noblesville, at 7 PM. Price is $10. Kids are free. And, there's an all-uke open mic to open the show! And a pajama jam party at my place after the show! It's going to be a great weekend.

I'd give anything to be back on that field for this.

PLEASE take this opportunity to stretch out and flex your mellow muscles and to fill your lungs, your hearts and your everythings with the love that we all left there... and somehow managed to leave it there only by taking it with us.

Make some noise, make some music, make some joy.

And remember the new rule!

Everyone that gets on that stage gets hugged by the MC, no matter what!

i'm almost certain i'll be able to make it...i'm very excited

I so wish I could be there. I have a childhood friend's wedding to attend on the 17th. I wonder if I could get him to move the wedding to Indiana on one week's notice? :)

Is the field open for camping on friday night? I'm coming in friday afternoon, and not sure what i'm doing afterward...Are there any campgrounds i can crash in worth staying at near indianapolis for cheap....? PM me or facebook me with any ideas

Places to stay and where to go in noblesville

Okay, kids--there are some cheap hotels around noblesville, I'll see what I can find for you. I wish I could offer my home to every one of you--we have a handful of alumni, plus the dawgs, staying at our place on Friday, and it turns out my husband and I have to work on Saturday, Drat! There is an awesome campground in Strawtown, which is about fifteen minutes north of Noblesville. Also, there's a camp place across from Verizon Wireless center, and if there's a concert, there will be camping. There are also some nice places in the castleton area, about 20 minuntes south of Noblesvile. The Indy Hostel, around 46th and Winthrop in Indianapolis has good rates and an excellent space.
There's a party at my house after the concert on Friday--check out the facebook event: Miss Joni's First Ever Birthday Pajama Jam. Let me know if you plan to come, bring some beer or something tasty to share!
You can facebook me or email me at jbackbubenzer@aol.com since I don't always remember to visit my UWC page every day.
Oh, here's the link to White River campground in Strawtown. It would be a great place for a campout!

Can't wait to see everyone!

Hey, Jeeper, there's a nice campground just about 15 minutes north of Noblesville, http://www.hamiltoncounty.in.gov/parks_details.asp?id=2933

Also, though I suggested Castleton and Indy in my previous post, my husband says you should check out the Fishers area for hotels. Or 96th St.
Here's the closest hotel--it's in Noblesville.

I hope you can come to the pajama jam at my house after the concert!

I am looking forward to seeing everyone!

thanks so much for the info, i'll be there, i will wear my sexiest lingerie...cuz you can't sleep in overalls!

Jeeper, if you promise to behave, there's probably still room on my family room floor after the show. You can come and have some goodies and beer and jam a bit. email me at jbackbubenzer@aol.com!

Miss Joni
Now this is funny, i must have earned something of a reputation! (you sing boiled peanuts, and everyone things you're a wildman!) I found a place to stay, and got the same "if you promise to behave" sentiment...but I think i've found a place thank you for your hospitality
