A scene from, "The Alamo". I am a history nerd and I have to say this ranks in one of the top 5 movies I have ever seen. This scene still makes me cry.

heres the story(i am assuming that you guys know enough about the alamo to follow along): everynight during the battle the mexican army would play music. and following the music, they would unleash hell upon the alamo...cannon fire. During this entire time Davy Crockett pondered that there was something missing from the peice of music that the mexican army played before they would fire the cannons. Finally on the last night, Davy found out what was missing. A violin. Davy played along to the song that would bring about the death of his fellows and ultimately the doom of the Alamo. There was no cannon-fire that night.
