Hey everyone,
I just picked up the Ukulele last week and feel like I found a love for life! I have always written rhymey poems, but never thought of translating them into song. I also have always been super, painfully shy about singing but for some reason when there is a uke in my hands the fear melts away.

When I saw UU was having a contest I knew I had to enter and it wasn't long before this song came to life....I am crossing my fingers, but even if I don't win, writing this was the most fun I have had in a long time. I can't wait to write more! I am still very new so my housemate played the uke for me, but I practice contantly so hopefully it won't be long before I am singing and strumming on my own (colaborating is fun too though, yay for music!)
