Hi
I grew up (in part) at a house a few miles from Antebellum Music, and was excited to check out the store on a recent visit and hopefully meet Jake. The shop was closed (it was a Monday I guess). I was disappointed.

Rochester and Route 100 have been badly damaged by flooding of the White River, and Jake's shop is across Rte 100 from the river outside of town.

Here's an article about Rochester:

Has anyone heard from Jake?

Everyone in Rochester is ok & safe, Killington too. So says Vermont Public Radio. I hope Jake & family are well. They're awfully close to the river. I've been trying to contact my good friend in nearby Hancock. Still no answer on landline or cel, and I can't get there from here (as the saying goes) because so many roads are still being worked on. Another day or two I figure, because the Ripton Community Coffeehouse says they're is ON for this Saturday... yahoo!

Jake says he's OK, but his neighbors had much damage.
