I have a solid mahogany Big Island tenor uke. I love it, but am interested in trying out some new strings. It currently has Aquilas. I'm curious in particular about unwound low g sets. On other ukes, I've enjoyed the feel and sound of worth strings (both brown and clear). However, those have been other ukes.

Any thoughts? Or should I just get a sampler pack.

My two cents are that you get either a set of Worth Browns or Orcas. Both sound great on my solid koa aNueNue tenor. Much better than either Ko'olau Gold. Alohi, or Aquilas. I've tried them all and I think the fluoro really works great with the koa.
