Kiwaya KSL-2 not for sale--but there's one on ebay

Decided to keep my KSL-2. Thanks for looking.

Oops. Sorry about that, Mandarb. I'll post some shots asap. In the meantime: My reason for selling is a growing attachment to my mahogany ukes. This one has a very distinct koa tone--pure, sweet, bell-like--and I prefer the grittier bark of mahogany. I do like this uke for playing standards with jazzier chords, though. Hence my ambivalence ... Back soon with photos.

I will swap ya for a new Pono delux Mohagany Soprano plus a little cash if you are interested?

These are nice ukes, though mine doesn't have anywhere near as much figuring in the veneer as the one showing at burnunzio.com. Still, mine was my favorite uke and got a LOT of play time up until I got my longneck soprano KoAloha. Even now, it's not a complete case queen as I take it out a couple of times a week and play it. The Kiwaya isn't quite as bright and loud as the KoAloha but it doesn't give up much to it.

And did I mention that it's loud? It's loud.

More pix and sound on request.
