This must be the Clearwater Vita Soprano you were saving for. Congratulations! Can't wait to hear more about it. I am not familiar with the Clearwater ukes.

Still waiting for strings to settle and to see if they need a change before posting a sound sample, but so far I love it! Clearwater Ukes are a UK brand, I hadn't heard of them, but did some research on them before parting with my cash!

Fabulous Joey! I am curious if that shape has the same difference in sound as the pineapple shape. You don't hear as much about them. I look forward to your sound sample. I love new uke day!

8 ukes now!!! WOW!!!! Your powering through UAS like nobody's business!!! Less than a year ago I recall reading of you getting your 2nd uke, and it's all downhill from there. haha...

That's a cool looking uke. I've seen the shape before, but this one looks very nice. Makes me want to play some Baraoque or Lute style music!
Electric pickup is a bonus!

Cheers,
Skottoman

I do the vids in advance and I have a few to get through, but once the strings settle and I change them if needed, they'll be a sound sample here and on my blog :D

LOL, spoken like a true UAS addict. There's always "one more" after the last one. :)

Cool, can't wait to hear how the new uke sings.

Congratulations on the new ukulele! it's very pretty! I'm curious whether the body shape makes it sound different than a more typical figure eight bodied ukulele.

I think there is a subtle difference, at least what I'm hearing when I play a little, but once strings settle (or changed and then settle) I'll put up a sound sample :D

Congrats, Joey!

Other than the pickup, it looks a lot like the Ohana Vita Uke. I wonder if they are the same uke under different names? (I suspect Ken Middleton would have that answer....)

Hope that your health is improving, dear. be Well, Be Safe, and Be Happy!

Just when you think you have UAS under control.... you think to yourself..... "Hmmmm, I wonder what a CONCERT uke feels/plays/sounds like?"

And then.... "Hmmmm, I wonder what a TENOR uke feels/plays/sounds like?"

And then... "Hmmmm, I wonder what a LONGNECK SOPRANO feels/plays/sounds like?"

Hahaaa... UAS over? It's just getting started! :)

Cheers,
Skottoman

Thanks everyone :D

Cora is my "Uke of the Week" on my blog so all my videos will be done with her for the next couple weeks, by which time I should have a good idea about where she falls on my rotation and be able to do a good review of her, as you saw that video had a short review, more "first impressions" than anything else, but as time goes on, I'll be able to do a better one :D Anyone wishing to see more videos of her playing, I'm just about to post two on my blog and they will eventually become the DU videos of the day when I've worked through my backlog and am up to the songs I'm learning right now!

Thanks again!
