Can anyone help me with identifying this banjo uke? There is no labels anywhere that I have found and it looks like a nice uke.

No, not really.

What does it look like from behind? How about a closeup of the head stock? The tail piece?

That would make it a lot easier to identify.

I really can't say, Shrink, but it doesn't look that old. The cracked tuning heads could be due to age, or overtightening, and the whole thing really looks generic.

I'm pretty sure that there are others here who could give a much better assessment of this instrument, but there just don't seem to be any signs of use at all in those photos, at least not to me, and nothing to identify it unless you're an expert - which I ain't.


Jnobianchi is an expert, however....

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Kurt. :)

I think that's another House of Stathopolou (which changed their name to Epiphone in the late 20's), but as you say - would have been nice of the seller to post more than one fairly unhelpful photo. I've never seen one with that herringbone binding around the bottom of the pot, but the headstock is one associated with Stathopolou.
