I've been playing the guitar for a few years and play the fiddle a bit as well. I've recently started messing around with the uke and am curious how scales are played on them.
Because of the low C string, it makes playing scales starting on the G sound off/odd. I know I can start of just the C and play up from there, ignoring the G. Is this common or do people skip over the C string when starting on the G?
thoughts/suggestions?
