I'd love to hear from some of you who have played these or other staggs. Are they as good as say, the mahalo basics (u-30s)?

I have a Stagg soprano, no graphics though...It has the world's highest action and the intonation is unbelievably bad. I haven't managed to adjust it, so it lays around my summer house, unplayed... However, it is well built and solid, so if I can get that action right, it might be ok in the end. It will be hard work.

I have a Stagg solid mahogany soprano. I have set it up carefully and it is excellent - really excellent. I had a Stagg concert which had a seriously misplaced bridge. I've played others: some were good, some were not.

Stagg QC is impressively random and unreliable. Get a good one and they're great. If you don't get a good one, well...
