I just want to say thank you to the forum members and monitors. I truly enjoy this place. As a relative newbie/hack this has been an invaluable resource for learning about songs, chords, the Uke itself, and all other things ukulele. The forum members span from traditional Hawaiian to tin pan alley to rock and punk and for the most part it's all positive and supportive. I appreciate the tolerance when I ask a simple question and love living vicariously through others buying or building a new Uke.

Monitors, you do a great job of keeping the Viagra ads out and keeping us in check.

I always look forward each morning to see whats new in the UU universe. Besides, where else can you get a daily Joeybug fix?

It is easy to get sucked in good and proper here.... what I love is that there is room for everyone - there are several little 'niches' around the place that people tend to coagulate in, but everyone talks to each other across the various forums and it's an overall positive environment. Checking to see the new videos posted with my morning coffee is a great way to start the day....

Me too!!!!

I am so grateful that this forum exists. I just ordered my first soprano from Mim today because of reading about her here. I learned about strap buttons and barred chords and how best to hold a ukulele when you have a womanly chest. I haven't posted a whole lot because the answers to so many of my questions can be found with a quick search.

Love to all of you!

Nix

I have lived here, ever since I found it. I love, that now when I go into my local shop, I actually know what I am looking at, and can talk (somewhat) intelligently now.
