I have made cigarbox guitars before but now I have decided to make a cb resonator uke.With guitar the twelf fret is important in working out the scale length is it the same with a ukulele Mal (UK)

Yes it is. Same theories apply to any fretted stringed instrument.
Hi Mal - I'm aware of your CB reso project (as you know!)
The neck you have on-order is a concert scale, with a 381mm scale length. To get the uke to intonate well, you'll need to add a few (~3) mm to this, placing your bridge saddle 384mm from the nut.

Hi rob that is really funny but some time ago I started to build a tenor uke and mae a mistake with it so I have taken the sound board of and forgot what scale length I did it at. I actually intended to ask you personally for the concert length neck you are making for me .Thanks any way Mal
