I love my concert, but there seems to be a few things every couple of weeks that creep up with it. This time, it's that the E string gets lost in the mix between the other strings. The uke is certainly a heck of a lot livelier than my soprano (when I hold it while people are talking at normal room volume 10 feet away, I can feel the whole instrument vibrate).

I'm thinking the Aquilas are overpowering it and I'm considering moving back to flourocarbons to balance the sound out. The issue is, when I had the M600's on before I'm almost certain that the E string was still getting lost. Is there anyone else that has had this issue on older solid ukes and found a remedy? The other three strings sound fantastic, that little guy just can't keep up volumewise.
