I don't know anything about writing books but I do know that when you DO write them that you have to not only FIND but also perfect your VOICE. (from what I've read.
It recently occurred to me that the same is true with OOKOOLAYLAY playing as well.
If you want to be at least decent...play play and play some more and without your vocal chords... find your voice ... and play till you're hoarse!
