I'd like to get another tenor and there is a used one on evilbay I'm interested in.
Is it solid wood? The Finn site doesn't specify, and when it doesn't say solid it could be laminate.

What tonal properties would swamp ash have?
anyone have this particular model?
Where are they made?
thanks in advance for any info on this model. I searched and couldn't find much.

Hey there, I had a cheapo mahalo toy uke as my first and I recently bought an EF-50 concert size uke and I really love it...it has laminated sides and top but very nicely selected wood and overall is a bright and loud instrument. I am very pleased with it. I bought it off evilbay as well and got a screaming deal on it, $68. so I really cant complain.

I'll be posting a review of the uke asap.

I also got one off of Ebay. It has a nice sound and the action is good. It's one of my favorite ukes. It also has great weight balance. The top is indeed laminate but the uke is sharp looking. I have seen some selling on ebay with a case for $99. Mine is a concert uke though so I cannot speak about the tenor models.

Anything made with swamp ash deserves respect.
You can strum ash, but it's better when you kick ash!
WooHoo!
