Where is a good place to purchace a heating blanket online?
I didn't see one on the StewMac site, so I was wondering where else I could find one.
Thanks!

LMI, McMaster-Carr, or directly from Watlow.

I've just bought one of these to experiment with ..it's big enough to do two jumbo guitar sides at once..and it has a built in thermo couple.

These blankets are better than the Watlow brand - I had a 6" one that lasted only a few years... I got my blankets from Hana Lima - 24" x 5". Blues Creek Guitars has 24" x 6" and Bob Gleason sold them one time though I have just visited his site and page 2 -4 are missing where I suspect he advertised sets and tools...

This is where I got mine, as well as many of the Aussie luthiers. They are on the ANZLF preferred vendors list as their product is very well made and the best price we could find.

Micheals Enterprises Inc. (http://www.meiheaters.com/)

These guys build blankets for just about any application that you can think of, so you need to do the leg work yourself in order to place an order. When I got mine the price was ablaut 1/2 of what LMI and Blues Creek were asking.

First page to have a look at is Design Guidelines (http://www.michaelsenterprises.com/DrawOnePage.aspx?PageID=32)

Then when you've got that figured out, you can Place Your Order. (http://www.michaelsenterprises.com/DrawOrderForm.aspx?PageID=18)
