Here's one on ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Makala-Dolphin-Bridge-Pink-Burst-Soprano-Ukulele-/390318884349?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5ae0d185fd)... for only $200!

And that's nothing, the same seller has a standard entry-level Makala 'ukulele pack (complete with soft gigbag and tuner) for only $300.

Honestly, how on earth can these people sleep at night?

I just bought a pink Dolphin for a friend's daughter - but man was it hard to find! I've been looking for one locally for over a year but the only one I encountered was a dud, and on eBay I kept seeing the prices going higher and higher and was wondering what was up with that. Eventually I found one at Island Bazaar in Huntington Beach for the usual $40-$50 or so. And they had several - so it's not like they're impossible to find. Weird.

Nearly as pricey as this pink dolphin

I'll take a pint of what he is drinking! ;)
I'm off down to the DIY shed to see how much pink spray paint costs.......
