Goldtone Deluxe Banjulele (soprano) with beautiful new calf skin head!!!!

Just posting for other Goldtone players who might be curious. I just got my banjulele back from Gruhn's Guitars in downtown Nashville, TN. They did a great job. Sounds a lot clearer and punchier. I'm digging the marbled look of the calf skin too. New fluorocarbon strings from Mya-Moes ukulele shop. Still workin' on the Formby stuff though. That dude is one bad maama-jamma.

Thank you. I'm still brand new at the Formby stuff though. I must be the only banjulele player that played for 4 years before ever hearing of George Formby. The weird thing is once you hear the split stroke, you can't un-hear it. A few weeks ago I was in the market for a nice UB-2 but this Goldtone is a whole new instrument now. Think it will do just fine.
