I've just got a new (used) William King ukulele, actually it came from UkuleleFriend.com. This one is A3-C tenor model, all Koa body with Mi-Si pickup. The very special about this uke are playability, size and sound.
This uke has bigger size than normal one and couldn't fit in regular case. What impressed me is the position of neck to body at 12 fret, just like old Martin guitars. It creates huge sound acoustically and amazing sound through the amps. Also what I really like most is radius fingerboard to help you to play much easier.
You can get the information about this uke at http://chantus.com/journal/index.php?/archives/776-A-koa-tenor.html
And here is the sound sample recorded directly with iPhone 4. The tune I played was Thai classical song called 'Pama Prates'.
Enjoy!!!
